Sample Itinerary

Below is a general outline of the activities and excursions campers can expect to participate in during their stay with us. Daily activities (not listed below) include: morning yoga & meditation, Spanish lessons, and three healthy and delicious meals per day.

DAY 1

  • Arrive in Costa Rica (SJO Airport)
  • Shuttle to Montezuma (including transportation via ferry)
  • Arrive at camp
  • Welcome orientation & dinner

DAY 7

  • Isla Tortuga Snorkeling and Beach day (Full day)
  • Farm to table dinner
  • Movie night

  • Beach activities at Montezuma main beach
  • Marine Biology lesson
  • Community Service - Beach Clean Up
  • Jewelry/Art Projects

DAY 8

  • Garden volunteer project
  • Butterfly Gardens
  • Surf/beach volleyball at Playa Grande
  • Special dinner at local restaurant in Montezuma

DAY 3

  • Sun Trails Zip-line & Canopy Tour
  • Montezuma waterfalls hiking & swimming adventure
  • Movie night

  • Community service - Turtle Conservancy in Montezuma
  • Typical food cooking lesson & lunch
  • Entomology lesson
  • Bioluminescence Tour at Curu National Park

DAY 4

  • Surfing/Stand Up Paddle-boarding in Santa Teresa
  • Community Service - Beach Clean Up
  • Marine Biology lesson
  • Team building - Volleyball game

DAY 10

  • Morning beach activities
  • Environmental project on campus
  • Shuttle to San Jose (including ferry)
  • Arrive at hotel

DAY 5

  • Cabo Blanco National Park Hike
  • Beach activities
  • Marine Biology lesson
  • Typical food - cooking class
  • Movie night

DAY 11

  • Shuttle to SJO airport
  • Campers depart back to USA
